Hi, I’m Dave Shinsel
I manage a software team at Intel Corporation, but I build robots as a hobby to keep my hand in on writing software and building hardware (and because it’s fun!)
I have worked on a variety of interesting projects, including; the Intel TeraFlops Super Computer, Intel Streaming Media, Intel Video Phone, Vivonic Fitness Trainer (hand-held fitness device), Intel Create&Share, GPRS Wireless, and Graphics. I managed the team that co-wrote the graphics driver with Apple for the first MacBook Air.
Prior to working at Intel, I have worked at Hughes Aircraft, Epson America, and Mentor Graphics. My degrees are in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Cal State Long Beach.
Hey, DAVE! Long time no see. Can i still email you personally as I have always done?
I like your new website. Hey! do you work with Johnny Lee?
Mel
Incredible message, I must say i watch for fresh news of your stuff.
Nice piece of writing, I really expect fresh news from you.
Excellent tips! I have been hunting for something similar to this for a while now. Cheers!
Hi, I really like your robots, I discovered them through your videos on YouTube. I was curious about your robot Loki so I googled a to find your website (ProTip: Pop a link in the description for lazy people). You should embed your videos in your posts, or link to them. They are a lot cooler than the photos! Loki’s doing cool useful robot stuff, he’s like a cross between Johnny 5 and Wall-E in your latest video of him picking up litter!
I look forward to the day when every kid can build their own robot sidekick like Loki and upgrade them perpetually! There is always a theory…
I must show appreciation to the writer just for rescuing me from this type of trouble. As a result of looking out through the world-wide-web and obtaining things which are not helpful, I figured my entire life was gone. Existing minus the solutions to the issues you have solved by way of the short post is a critical case, as well as the kind that could have in a wrong way damaged my entire career if I had not encountered your web site. Your good talents and kindness in playing with all areas was crucial. I’m not sure what I would have done if I had not come across such a subject like this. I can at this moment look ahead to my future. Thanks very much for your skilled and sensible help. I won’t hesitate to recommend your blog to anybody who would need guide on this issue.
